The Ed Jones Quartet @ The Victory Club, Burlington House, Lypiatt Road, Cheltenham. GL50 2SY

It’s good to welcome back Ed Jones tonight, last time he was here he was with Damon Brown, depping for someone else. But tonight he is here in his own right with his own group. Ed has been on the London scene for over twenty years, worked with everybody and is now busy composing, arranging, is a Principal Lecturer Principal at Leeds College of Music and of course, playing for us tonight.

On piano tonight an old friend in a different hat. Ross Stanley, who, we are more used to sitting at a Hammond is, as I say, on piano.

On bass tonight, almost a local, Riaan Voslo is now based (no pun intended) in Bristol where he is well established in a very diverse local scene.

Last here with the “Glow Quartet” we welcome back Tim Giles on drums. As I told you last time, he started drumming at the tender age of twelve!

This is promising to be a great gig in the swinging Victory Club Ballroom, don’t miss it!

Tickets (cash/chq only) £16, CJ Members/Concessions £14.
Available at the door.
